How treatment works
You'll wear each set of aligners for a set period of time before moving to the next set in the series. Every few weeks, you'll check in with us so Dr. Croft can make sure everything is tracking the way it should. When you finish, a retainer keeps your new smile in place.

Does Invisalign work as well as braces?
For a wide range of cases, yes. Dr. Croft will tell you honestly whether Invisalign is a good fit for your bite, or whether braces would get you a better result.
How many hours a day do I wear my aligners?
About 20 to 22 hours a day. You take them out to eat, drink anything besides water, and brush. The results depend on wearing them consistently.
How long does Invisalign take?
It depends on how much your teeth need to move. Some adults finish in under a year, while more involved cases take longer. You'll get a realistic timeline at your consultation.
Is Invisalign painful?
Most people feel some pressure for a day or two when they switch to a new set of aligners. That's a sign they're working. It's usually far more comfortable than people expect.
